After a long wait it's finally here, we're proud to announce our newest
release on Coco Soul, The Moves featuring Tortured Soul "See You More". The Moves is the brain child of Jkriv, bass
player for Tortured Soul, so it wasn't a huge stretch for him to get the rest of the band
involved for this collaborative effort. A slammin' duet where Christian Urich nails the verses
with his smoothed out soul and Jkriv rocks the hook. You have in your hands the deepest most
fleshed out housegroove to hit yet this year. Tortured Soul's live performances have been taking
them all over the world shaking dance floors in all hemispheres but the vinyl releases have been
limited so this will be moving quick. On the remix tip we have Halo and Martino giving it to you
straight in a vintage Master At Work style influenced as well we're sure by one of our label

Coco Soul has been on a low slow simmer and for that we hope you are
building up an appetite because we have a dish to serve up. Again, it's
a rare day when a great demo comes across the desk here at Coco HQ but
indeed it has happened again. A humble email came into the inbox with
a greeting and an MP3 from James Rivera of Blvd East wondering if we were
looking for projects. In actuallity the MP3 was exactly the project we
were looking for. "A Jorney Into..." is a nine minute afro-latin excursion
inviting you with it's chants and horns to come and join the dance. Beware though, if you chose to
join, you will be, without a doubt, on a journey. Hit the flip side for a deeper organ driven ride
for the late late night. Hot off the back of Blvd East's "Luv 4 Money" on MAW's Vega imprint this one
is sure to do the damage with it's rhythms builds and changes...see ya on the boulevard.

Coco Soul is turning up the heat. This time in the kitchen it's none other than Alix Alvarez fueling
the fire with a smokin' remix of Kemdi's "Still A Dancer". Following close on the heels of his remix of
Mr. V "Jus' Dance" for MAW's Vega imprint, Alix drops back into classic mode bringing you a minimal
chord and string driven late night vibe. The goal of flipping the vibe from the original "Still A Dancer"
was met with much straighter drum programming and the deep deep electronic basslines Alix is loved for.
One to watch and still developing, Alix and his "Sole Channel" vibe are true to the New York sound but
always pushing outward and forward, never flooding the market, always leaving you waiting for that next
vibe. Great things to come, we assure you.

Kemdi is back, and Still A Dancer. So here we are with our third installment of the Coco Soul series.
This release brings Kemdi to the forefront showing her deepest talent for writing lyrics from her
heart and soul. Her voice, both saddened and uplifting brings you a mood so deep there is nothing
to do but close your eyes, move your body and be Still A Dancer.
Like the first Coco Soul release, this song is produced by the French
group Handcrafted Sol which is led by a relatively new shining star Regis
Godon. Lending additional production support and an inate musical sensibility
is Olivier Portal of Paris' Playin' For The City. Again with this release we
are keeping it simple, a beatiful melodic vocal number on the A side and a
dub on the B reflecting the original vocal imagery. This release is not to
be denied, it will take you many places in your deepest Coco Soul...see you
there.

Coco Soul is back again with another stunner. Once again we have done our research and found a new sound
and voice in the world of deep and soulful house music. Full Blown Moon Productions masterminded by Arahm
Lee delivers this ever changing melodic adventure through Time & Space. The strong yet sweet tones
from the lips of a beatiful Julia Navin pull you in verse by verse, chorus by chorus across the bridge to
Time & Space dubbed. Lyrically this song is classic soul, sassy, melancholy, hopeful and understanding
of the eventual reality that all things fall apart, but until then we will stand together in the sun.
Rhythmically Full Blown Moon takes you from classic house to Brazilian vibes and back again. The dub is
steady, dreamy and broken down to the basics with a tougher backbeat. The year to come the playing field is
open to all newcomers, we need fresh sounds and Full Blown Moon will be a starting forward sure to hit that
goal every time. Coco Soul will be there too delivering fresh soulful goodness hot outta the oven.

...and here it is, proof that a thought becomes an idea and in turn, a reality. We are proud to introduce
Coco Soul, the new project from Coco Machete Records; a nice thought, now drop the needle and hear the
reality. Our first release has come out of the blue, or should we say bleu, it is from Paris after all.
Handcrafted Sol, French producer Regis Godon, has decided to make "You've Got It" his
first ever release. Coco Soul pleased to debut his sound and look forward to many more in the future.
Kemdi has not come out of the bleu having first broke onto the scene with a song on Central Park,
"An Invitation" and a follow up smash single for Jon Cutler's Distant label entitled "You
Groove Me." Both of these songs were later remixed by Osunlade, a perfect match. When you listen to
this release you will hear how comfortable she is in that groove, that soul.
