Land Shark "Shake Me" (Sweetlight Remixes)

A1. Sweetlight Remix
A2. Original
B1. Sweetlight Dubb
B2. Dub

The Shark has resurfaced, shaken but not stirred. Off the back of the original 12” of “Shake Me”, released under the moniker Tiburon, we enlisted the talents of France’s Sweetlight to push this single that one step further. Sweetlight has had great success with his singles on David Duriez’ Freak N Chic label as well as remixes on UK media darling Output Recordings. The vocal remix keep quite true to the original but makes things more accessible for both radio and the dancefloor, not an easy feat. The Sweetlight Dub as it should breaks things down to a much simpler hypnotic groove for those late late night sessions. Also included in the package are the original mixes back on track and shaken again in '06.

Dog Tags "The Connection"

A1. The Connection
A2. Connect the Dots
B1. F is For Freak

Deep, dark, minimal and illusive, the "Connection" is made. With shuffling simplicity this groove builds around pops, bleeps, growls and virtual puffs of air. Once you're locked in to the grind a voice is heard, it sounds like the female love child of Hal 900, the sinister computer from 2001 A Space Odyssey. With three simple words, "Make The Connection", the whole picture changes, the pace picks up and the boosters flare taking you to the depths of 2006 and beyond. As the connection is secured it's time to hit the flip, direct heading, Planet Detroit. The surface looks familiar and so are the sounds and pulse, a Sueno Latinoesque techno excursion into the depths of Coma.
