Land Shark's Demented Debut Album
![]() Released this week, the self titled, full length album from Land Shark a.k.a. Lance DeSardi on Coco Machete shakes up any preconceived notions held by fans of dance, rock, electro and alternative sounds. The Land Shark project is an edgy departure from Lance's previous projects as an underground house music mainstay. Still deeply rooted in dance rhythms, Land Shark takes derailing hard left turns into the sonic realms of industrial, punk and electro. The music itself, drenched in angular synths, gravelly basslines, hypnotic live and electronic drums, defies genrefication. Be on the lookout for the full length album on CD, Vinyl and Digital formats as well as a release of the first single "Shake Me". The single features remixes from Sweetlight who has previous releases on Trevor Jackson's Output Recordings, David Duriez's Freak N' Chic imprint and Mylo's Breastfed. |
